“4D” is shorthand for “four-dimensional” – the fourth dimension being time. 4D Ultrasound takes three-dimensional ultrasound images and adds the element of time to the process. The result: Live-action images of an unborn child or of any internal anatomy. In contrast to other 3D imaging diagnostic processes, 4D allows the doctor to visualize internal anatomy moving in real-time. By viewing fetal movement patterns, doctors can better assess a baby’s development. For the parents, you not only get to see how your child looks but you also get to watch them move as if they were already here!
The video taping lasts 20 minutes. Family and friends are welcome and can view the ultrasound on our beautiful 42 inch screen! Pictures are captured on CD for the parents, as well as several photos printed off to have in hand. A DVD is also provided to record the 20 minute scan. Our sonographer is highly experienced and does excellent work! The price is $119.00.
